Environmental Policy

1. Introduction

1.1 Purpose. At Premise One, we are committed to promoting environmental sustainability in all aspects of our operations. This Environmental Policy outlines our dedication to responsible environmental management, waste reduction, and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction.

1.2 Stakeholders.“Stakeholders” referenced in this document is a group that may include many internal or external individuals or companies, but at minimum will include the CEO, President, CSO, Assistant Controller, and the Premise One acting Safety Officer.

1.2.1 Integration into Business Decisions. Stakeholders will be responsible for the integration of environmental considerations into our business decisions and project planning processes. They will be tasked in assisting the business with the assessment of the environmental impact of our designs,

construction methods, and service operations, aiming for sustainability and minimizing environmental harm.

2.0 Compliance with Environmental Regulations. We will comply with all applicable environmental laws, regulations, and standards relating to our business activities. We will stay informed about evolving environmental regulations and update our practices to ensure full compliance.

2.1 Vehicle Eﬃciency and Maintenance

2.1.1 Vehicle Selection. When procuring new service vehicles, we will prioritize the selection of electric or hybrid vehicles (where economically and operationally feasible), or gasoline/diesel vehicles with high fuel efficiency, low emissions, and lower environmental impact aligned with our

environmental goals.

2.1.2 Maintenance. Regular vehicle maintenance will be performed to optimize fuel or battery efficiency or energy usage while reducing emissions. We will implement preventive maintenance programs and encourage prompt repairs to ensure vehicles operate at their peak efficiency.

2.1.3. Fuel Efficiency. We will promote and monitor fuel-efficient driving practices, including avoiding excessive idling, maintaining proper tire pressure, reducing unnecessary weight in vehicles, and utilizing efficient routes. Employees will be encouraged to adopt eco-driving techniques to optimize fuel consumption.

2.1.4 Alternative Fuels and Technologies. We will continually explore and evaluate the feasibility of using alternative fuels, such as electric, hybrid, or biofuels, for our service vehicles. Where possible, we will invest in and promote the adoption of cleaner technologies to reduce greenhouse

gas emissions and dependence on fossil fuels.

2.1.5 Emissions Reduction

2.1.5.1 Monitoring. We will monitor and record the emissions produced by our service vehicles regularly. This data will identify trends, informing decision makers and stakeholders when setting reduction targets, and making other decisions to minimize our carbon footprint.

2.1.5.2 Emissions Reduction Strategies

2.1.5.2.1 We will develop and implement strategies to reduce vehicle emissions, such as promoting vehicle sharing, optimizing routes, and lowering the occurrence of return-to-site visits to minimize mileage.

2.1.5.2.2 We will encourage the use of videoconferencing or other remote communication

tools to reduce the need for physical service visits whenever possible.

3. Waste Management

3.1 Waste Reduction. We will prioritize waste reduction by implementing measures to minimize waste

generation at our own company operations, client construction sites, and service teams. This includes

employing efficient materials management practices, promoting reuse and recycling, and encouraging the

use of sustainable materials.

3.2 Waste Segregation. We will ensure proper waste segregation and disposal at all stages of our operations. We will provide appropriate waste collection and recycling facilities, and educate our employees, clients, and service teams on proper waste handling procedures.

3.3 Waste Management. We will promote proper waste management practices related to our fleet of service vehicles. This includes minimizing the use of disposable materials, promoting recycling and reuse of vehicle components, and ensuring the proper disposal of hazardous materials and fluids in accordance with local regulations.

4. Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reducon

4.1 GHG Target Setting. We will set specific, measurable, and time-bound targets to reduce GHG emissions associated with our operations at corporate, at Client construction sites, and within our service teams operating throughout the US. These targets will align with applicable GHG reduction initiatives and client or industry best practices.

4.2 GHG Tracking. We will establish systems to track, measure, and report our GHG emissions. This includes monitoring emissions from our company operations, construction sites, and service vehicles. Regular reporting will enable fleet managers to identify areas for improvement and evaluate the effectiveness of our emissions reduction strategies.

4.3 Energy Eﬃciency. We will strive to improve energy efficiency across our operations. This includes implementing energy-efficient technologies, optimizing equipment and lighting systems, and promoting energy conservation practices among our employees and service teams.

5. Stakeholder Involvement. We will actively engage and collaborate with our clients, employees, suppliers, and the local community to promote environmental awareness and encourage sustainable practices. We will seek feedback, involve stakeholders in decision-making processes, and foster partnerships that support our environmental goals.

6. Reporting and Transparency. We will maintain open and transparent communication regarding our environmental performance. We will report not less than once annually on our progress to our internal stakeholders and as required or requested, to our Clients. Our reporting will reflect accurate and comprehensive data, fostering trust and accountability.

7. Training and Awareness. We will provide training and awareness programs to our employees and contractors to enhance their understanding of environmental issues, sustainable practices, and the importance of their role in achieving our environmental objectives. We will encourage employees to contribute ideas and suggestions for improving our environmental performance.

8. Continuous Improvement. We are committed to continually improving our environmental performance. Per this policy, we will establish measurable objectives and targets to monitor our progress, review our policy not less than once annually to ensure its effectiveness, and adapt our practices to incorporate emerging technologies and best environmental management practices.

9. Communication. This policy will be communicated to all employees, contractors, and stakeholders, and made available to the public through our website. We will strive for open and transparent communication regarding our environmental initiatives, achievements, and challenges.

fleet of service vehicles, and striving for sustainable business practices.
